STEP BY STEP

Let's make something delicious.

  1. 01

Wash the duck breasts, pat dry with kitchen paper and cut lengthways into strips. Mix the meat with the sesame oil and sambal oelek and leave to marinate for 20 minutes.

  2. 02

Meanwhile, soak the wooden skewers in warm water. Wash and dry the courgettes, then cut into thick slices. Toss with the lemon juice, sugar and olive oil. Season with salt and pepper and leave to stand for 10 minutes. Meanwhile, preheat the barbecue.

  3. 03

Thread the duck onto the wooden skewers. Grill on the preheated barbecue for 4–5 minutes, turning once. Season with salt towards the end of cooking. Serve with the courgette salad.

  4. 04

Sesame oil and sambal oelek form the spicy marinade for the duck breast skewers.

  5. 05

The skewers are accompanied by a courgette and lemon salad.
