STEP BY STEP

Let's make something delicious.

  1. 01

Cook the bulgur in salted water for about 10 minutes. Trim and wash the tomatoes, then cut off the tops. Hollow out the tomatoes, ideally using a melon baller. Remove the seeds and blossom ends from the tomato tops, then finely dice the flesh.

  2. 02

Drain the bulgur, rinse under cold water and drain well. Wash the cucumber, halve lengthways, remove the seeds and finely dice. Trim, wash and chop the spring onion. Wash the herbs, shake dry and chop.

  3. 03

Mix 3 tbsp olive oil with the lemon juice and season with salt and pepper. Combine the bulgur, diced tomato and cucumber, spring onion and herbs with the vinaigrette, then adjust the seasoning. Spoon the tabbouleh into the hollowed-out tomatoes. Brush 8 pieces of aluminium foil with olive oil. Place one tomato on each piece and loosely close the foil over it.

  4. 04

Cook the tomatoes on the hot barbecue for about 10 minutes.
