STEP BY STEP

Let's make something delicious.

  1. 01

Preheat the oven to 160°C fan (180°C conventional). Grease a bundt tin and dust with flour.

  2. 02

Cut the figs into small dice and mix with the sultanas and cranberries. Rinse the orange under hot water, pat dry and grate off 1 tbsp of zest. Beat the butter and honey with an electric hand mixer until creamy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating after each addition.

  3. 03

Mix the flour, baking powder, ground almonds and cinnamon in a separate bowl. Stir the flour mixture into the butter and egg mixture, alternating with the milk and orange zest. Finally, stir in the dried fruit.

  4. 04

Spoon the batter into the prepared tin and bake on the middle shelf for 45–50 minutes. Remove from the oven and leave to cool in the tin.

  5. 05

Turn the cake out of the tin and dust with icing sugar.
