STEP BY STEP

Let's make something delicious.

  1. 01

Preheat the oven to 180 °C fan.

  2. 02

Unroll the puff pastry on the work surface, then roll it up tightly again lengthways.

  3. 03

Using a kitchen knife, cut the pastry roll in half lengthways. Halve both pieces again through the middle to make 4 equal pieces.

  4. 04

Shape the pastry pieces into small spirals and place them in the muffin tin.

  5. 05

Repeat with the remaining puff pastry rolls.

  6. 06

Bake the cruffins in the muffin tin on the middle shelf for 20 minutes, until golden brown on top.

  7. 07

Meanwhile, beat the softened butter and 100 g icing sugar with an electric hand mixer until light and fluffy. Add the blackberry jam and blackberries. Rinse the lemon under hot water and finely grate the zest. Finally, mix in the cream cheese, lemon zest and seeds from the vanilla pod.

  8. 08

The frosting should contain no lumps of butter.

  9. 09

Remove the cruffins from the tin and leave to cool.

  10. 10

Transfer the frosting to a piping bag and gently pipe it into the cruffins.

  11. 11

Decorate with blackberries and icing sugar.
