STEP BY STEP

Let's make something delicious.

  1. 01

Peel and wash the potatoes, then boil in salted water for about 30 minutes until cooked through. Drain, leave to cool and cut into small dice.

  2. 02

Cut the ham into small dice as well.

  3. 03

Wash the tomatoes, quarter them, remove the seeds and cut into small dice.

  4. 04

Peel the eggs and cut into pieces.

  5. 05

Drain the gherkins, reserving 2 tbsp of the brine. Chop the gherkins.

  6. 06

Rinse the chives, shake dry and finely snip.

  7. 07

Rinse the lettuce, shake dry, trim and cut into strips. Arrange as a bed on a platter. The egg salad can also be served in a bowl without the lettuce.

  8. 08

For the dressing, mix the yoghurt, mayonnaise, gherkin brine, vinegar, salt and pepper. Gently fold in the potatoes, eggs, ham, tomatoes, gherkins and chives. Adjust the seasoning and serve on the bed of lettuce.
