STEP BY STEP

Let's make something delicious.

  1. 01

Preheat the oven to 180 °C (fan).

  2. 02

Gently simmer the redcurrants, lemon juice and 1 tbsp maple syrup in a small saucepan over a low heat for approx. 10 minutes.

  3. 03

Wash the fig and cut the whole fruit into thin strips. Halve the strips.

  4. 04

Place the Camembert on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake for 10–15 minutes.

  5. 05

Meanwhile, melt the butter in a frying pan over a medium heat. Add the sugar and salt. Once the butter starts to bubble, stir in the walnuts. Leave over a medium heat for about 1 minute, until the nuts are lightly toasted. Stir in a pinch of cinnamon and cayenne pepper. Turn off the hob and set the walnuts aside.

  6. 06

Remove the Camembert from the oven and immediately top with the compote, walnuts and fig strips. Finally, drizzle with one tsp of honey.
