STEP BY STEP

Let's make something delicious.

  1. 01

Peel and finely dice the onion and garlic. Cut the kimchi into bite-sized pieces.

  2. 02

Heat the vegetable oil in a large frying pan or wok. Fry the onion and garlic until soft and translucent. Add the kimchi and fry for a further 2–3 minutes.

  3. 03

Add the rice, soy sauce, gochujang and sesame oil to the pan and mix well. Fry for approximately 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the rice is hot throughout.

  4. 04

While the rice is frying, prepare the topping. For each serving, fry 2 eggs in a separate frying pan with a little vegetable oil.

  5. 05

Divide the kimchi fried rice between four plates. Top each serving with 2 fried eggs. Sprinkle with the toasted sesame seeds and the nori sheet cut into fine strips, then serve.
