STEP BY STEP

Let's make something delicious.

  1. 01

Allow the frozen spinach to thaw slightly in a fine sieve. Preheat the oven to 180 °C conventional heat. Grease a baking dish (approx. 35 x 23 x 6 cm) with a little oil.

  2. 02

Peel the onion and garlic cloves, then finely dice or chop them. Heat the olive oil in a large frying pan. Gently sauté the onion and garlic. Add the partially thawed spinach, continue thawing it while stirring, then sauté briefly. Deglaze with the cream. Stir in the soured cream and cream cheese. Simmer over a low heat for approx. 5 minutes.

  3. 03

Meanwhile, dice the feta. Remove the pan from the heat and fold the feta into the spinach mixture. Season well with salt, pepper and nutmeg.

  4. 04

For the first layer, place 3 lasagne sheets side by side in the greased baking dish. Spread 3 tbsp of the spinach mixture over them. Cover with 3 lasagne sheets, then spread another 3 tbsp of the spinach mixture on top. Continue in this way until all the ingredients are used up.

  5. 05

Sprinkle the final layer with the grated cheese. Bake the spinach lasagne on the middle shelf of the hot oven for 30–35 minutes until golden brown.
